Today’s IELTS class entering test …orz

I know myself could have, at least level 6 to 7 in IELTS. But the result is munch worst than that of my expectation, 5 !

The simulation test is not a complete IELTS, but an ILA test. It is not fair, since the test format is not same as the IELTS one. The test just have a MC, in Grammar, Volcab., Reading and Speaking.

The Grammar is rather weak, 15/22, Volcab just only 8/24 (the worst) and the Speaking is only 5 and the middle one. My best part is Reading, 17 out of 19.
I don’t really enjoy this test, several point that are not fair to me :

1. ILA =\=IELTS
I have practiced IELTS test for many times, I understand the format, way to speak and the techniques I need. But I really know nothing about how to be a local British. The Grammar and Volcab are based on a local British citizen standard, it just like the Chinese CE for a form 5 student for HK pupils.

2. No preparation time for Speak area.
How to you expect one to speak about one’s family for…3 minutes without any preparation?

3. As you can notice, my reading part is the best of all, 17/19.
Just because they are identical to each other.

I brought IELTS 7 test paper for practicing. I am thinking about joining the BC council 1-day workshop, instead of the 51-hour course (HKD$ 4,450!)
My confidence is weakened, I don’t know how to achieve level 7 which I expected. I think I need to ask Tuk for the IELTS Notes for study.

I am hoping to get back to school life as early as possible, and to leave this little IT company as far as I can. Such small It company can not give me any chances to expend myself.

Tuk said I might be suitable for commercial jobs. I don’t know, since I don’t have any experience in this area. And I hate business in my nature.

I wish to know the correct way that I need. Can anyone helps me?
